Location: Al Baha Region, Southern Saudi Arabia
The Al Baha region is home to two of the most prominent tribes of southern Arabia: Ghamid and Zahran. These ancient highland communities have long inhabited the region’s green mountain plateaus, where terraced farms, juniper forests, and traditional stone houses shape the landscape.
Tailoring in the southern highlands was traditionally carried out by men, who specialised in producing fitted garments suited to the cooler climate and rugged terrain.
